#Everspace Stunning visuals. Took me a while to get into it, but once it clicked, it was very easy to “just one more run” over and over again. Lots of replayability with it’s take on a “dungeon crawler in space”. It's great fun with a friend, taking it in turns, laughing when they die hitting an asteroid.

Genre: Single player Space combat, roguelike

I played: 25 hours

  • The game looks gorgeous and has some amazing visuals which really impressed me
  • Great upgrade systems and a nice selection of ships offer great replayability, which is always nice when you're spending your hard-earned cash on a game!
  • Once the game "clicked" it was very easy to become absorbed, and I kept finding myself just wanting "one more turn" (which naturally evolved in to many more turns...)
  • I enjoyed the "dungeon crawler in space" format, and I found the game to be very social - some of the most fun I had was playing with a friend, laughing as they were mercilessly destroyed by passing asteroids

  • It took me a while to get into the game, for it to really “click” for me, which meant I really had to want to play it in the very beginning
  • The game crashed a few times, and on one occasion my save game was corrupted. I copied it back from the cloud saves, and everything was fine, but it would have been nice if it hadn't happened in the first place
