#AC #LiberationHD Disjointed story, controls & frame rate issues. Brilliant protagonist & great graphics. Good elements, but a disappointing outing for Aveline
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD

Genre: Open World, Action RPG

  • Available for:
  • PS3
  • XBOX 360

I played: Around 7 hours

Aveline is a brilliant protagonist, she really deserves her own title. The graphics & sound are both very good & I really enjoyed the persona system where Aveline could change into different disguises (outfits).

I might be too hard on AC Liberation HD on the PS3, but after playing AC4 on the PS4, I found it very hard to cope the frame rate drops in crowded areas. Although I want I love everything Assassin's Creed, I found this game very hard to get into and enjoy. The movement through the forests doesn't work all the time, some tree's you can climb and some you can't 🙁

#AC4BlackFlag #NextGen version is a lot smoother & looks amazing. Gameplay hasn't changed, story is still great. Nice use of the Trackpad

Overall, it’s not a bad game, but it’s not the best, the Aveline DLC that came on the PS3/PS4 is a lot better as the game mechanics seem to work very well.

Instead of buying this, I would actually suggest that you get a Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and then play Freedom Cry instead (review coming soon)
