EA Pulls Chuck Beavers Blog Post

An update to the post I made back on the 20th April about Chuck Beaver (Dead Space Story Producer) who took it upon himself to tear into Gears Of War for its “story telling”, it seems that the Blog post has now been pulled from EA, and a statement published from Mr Beaver with regards to the post.

“I just wanted to jump in and clarify some of my comments that were taken out of context about Gears of War. First, let me say that I’m a huge fan. It is an epic franchise that has trail-blazed more than a few industry-leading player experiences and mechanics. It is deservedly recognized as a top-tier title. Its success as a property is evidenced by its giant sales and rabid fan base. The industry is far better for Epic’s contributions, and we all owe a great deal of inspiration to their work.”

EA and their representatives are at it again, instead of saying sorry, they claim it was “someone else’s fault”.  Considering it was an EA blog post, by an EA employee, I know who I think is “responsible” for the mistake, and it’s NOT the media this time.  Nice PR work again EA (sarcasm).
